Poll No. 213
- Published Date
Dear Sir/Madam,
The Palestinian Center for Public Opinion (PCPO) is pleased to share the results of Poll 213, entitled:
“The Mutual Repercussions of Halting the Israeli Banking Exemption on the Palestinian and Israeli Economies: A Field and Analytical Study (June – July 2025).”
This study presents Palestinian public opinion on one of the most pressing financial and political issues of recent years. By combining field survey data with analytical insights, it shows how Israel’s decision to end the banking exemption is widely viewed not as a technical adjustment, but as a political tool with far-reaching consequences for both the Palestinian and Israeli economies.
The findings highlight deep public concern regarding delayed salary payments, shortages of food and medicine, and broader threats to financial stability. At the same time, the study underlines the close interdependence between the two economies and the risks of escalating instability.
We believe this report offers timely insights for policymakers, researchers, media professionals, and the wider public.
