Dear Website visitor,
Thank you for your interest in visiting our Website...

Allow me at the beginning to introduce myself to you:
My name is Dr. Nabil Kukali. I am the founder and director of the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion.

"Democracy is the rule of the whole people of a country….". So at least this part of the definition of democracy I still keep in mind from my childhood. And believe me, I was already as a teenager convinced of that. Year by year this my conviction became stronger and stronger, particularly during the years of my study in the United States of America. Yes, people should decide themselves on their own issues of life. But how to help them do that ? To work on this crucial issue I decided to establish a center for the research of public opinion. Probing the public opinion, that what people think and feel, and publishing that through the various media is one of the assets of establishing democracy in a developing country such as the future State of Palestine, which we Palestinians aspire to be democratic. For that reason I founded in February 1994 with my own modest efforts the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion, abbreviated to (PCPO).
I trained for two years in a very hard work a good team of graduated young people, who are now working with me as interviewers, researchers, translators, data processors throughout the Palestinian territories. We employ now over 40 professionals and young researchers.

We were able after the arrival of the Palestinian Authority (PA) to register PCPO as a research center under the license number (Am/2). The Palestinian Ministry of Information issued the license that permits establishing satellite offices elsewhere in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Since that time we are dedicated to the following activities:
a. Conducting public opinion surveys
b. Omnibus polls and services
c. Market studies on all kinds of trading activities
d. Communication researches
e. Workshops and focus group sessions on various topics
f. Rendering services in the field of investment, including feasibility studies
g. Translation services from Arabic into English, German & Hebrew and vice-versa.

PCPO is now a name not only in Palestine, but all over the world, for reliability, credibility and experience.

Trusting that you gained a short view on our work, and for sure you will gain more if you go through the following pages.

Have a nice day !
